Digital Editorial – November 29th, 2022

You may have seen the “Open letter to the CCI“? Its subject, however, is critical, it is about the promotion of American digital actors, often Google by “workshops” of training, whose funding is questioned (either it is with our taxes, or it is Google for example who pays). In both cases, this raises legal or at least deontological problems! But in the end, I can only note that other authorities also allow an unfair competition of American solutions with respect to French solutions which exist, and which are not less efficient! Is it normal to favor companies that are not French, do not pay their taxes in France and do not recruit much in France? What are these organizations? There was for example the #cpme (to be checked if the shot was corrected), the #cga (Centre de Gestion Agréé), which offer to their members like the #CCI #google training… I am not talking about the use of these same American tools as #teams, instead of French collaborative solutions, with all the risks related to the risky management of private data of these solutions and the prohibition of the DirNum to the state administrative bodies to use the O365 and Google Workplace solutions…

It is time to wake up and take into account the magnitude of the task ahead of us, we cannot continue to play against our own side, especially by institutional actors who are in charge of the economic development of our territories …
